Item build 1: Bottle – Boots of speed – Portal Key – Post Haste – Shrunken Head – Nullfire Blade – Geometers Bane – (Wingbow/Behemoths heart)
Item build 2 – Bottle – Boots of speed – Portal Key – Post Haste – Shrunken Head – Shieldbreaker – (Demonic Breastplate – Flayer)
Item build 3 – Bottle – Boots of speed – Assassins Shroud – Post Haste – Shrunken Head – (Same as above)
Item build 4 – Bottle – Boots of speed – Shrunken head – Post Haste – Geometers Bane – (Wingbow/Frostwolf Skull – Symbol of Rage – Flayer)
Item build 5 – Bottle – Boots of speed – Portal Key – Frostwolf Skull – (Wingbow – Geometers Bane)
Optional: Portal Key is always optional. You can skip it or get it, same goes for assassins shroud.
Hero Basics:
Preferred lane: Solo mid , Solo bot as legion, Solo top as Hellbourne. New School is to put him in a dual lane.
Hero type: Carry
Item dependence: High.
Early game power/Lane control: Decent power and great last hit power with soulsteal.
Mid game power: Strong.
Late game power: Strong because of his farming tools.
Farming skills: Excellent, probably one of the best in the game.
Gank power: Medium.
Hero Weakness: Low healthpool, cant escape ganks and he is very item dependent.
Hero Strength: Excellent farmer, thus can get alot of items.
Countered By: Heavy nukers, Roamers, gankers and disablers, Totem of Kuldra. Late game assassins like Nighthound and Scout.
Best Allies: Tempest, Keeper of the Forest.
Best against: None, good hero overall.
Overall hero strength: Strong.
Suitable for newbies? No, Very hard to play.

nice build i personally don’t play ss as much as i wish i could, not saying he’s hard to play its just i always get dual laned agains when i try to solo mid :/. my build which is close to yours : Steamboots, portal key, Shrunken head, geometers bane, winged bow, and maybe symbol or rage or shield breaker.
