3 Three Mobile Broadband Review (Australia)
The reason that I would waste my time posting this review is because I have just had enough of 3 mobile broadband.
I have been a 3 Mobile Boradband Prepaid user for more than a year now, I was first attracted by its price. Now I truly regret my decision.
This is what happens when you use so called “Broadband”
- I’m always on full signal reception, however, the speed is very unstable, for example, im maxed out at 8KB/s when I am typing this article. Hell, might as well call it mobile dialup.
- You are going to suffer ALOT of downtime/maintenance, THIS HAS BEEN EXTREMELY annoying for me especially at critical moments where i need internet access. Every 2~3 nights in a week the internet will be DOWN. It will give you error such as “you have ran out of bandwidth please recharge” when in fact you have 10GB left! and when you try to login their website it will give you an error message, you cant even login. And very frequently the internet also goes down randomly during daytime, when you are trying to browse it simply gives Server not found error.
- You will NOT be able to upload file larger than 50kb (ie uploading photos to facebook, upload files to your server), the connection simply gets stuck at 50kb when you are trying to upload!
- Three customer service DOES not reply to your query sent through their website, I have sent them several queries regarding the broadband issues but none of which got a reply.
I wrote this review in anger because I’m triyng to download this 6mb file and its giving a hard time.
I have never tried any other broadband companies so I cant offer any comparison, the above is the terrible experience I have had with Three. I will never ever go back to it again once I want to spend the money to move to another company.
